The UVM Office of Primary Care and AHEC Program are offering a Project ECHO tele-education program focused on Transgender Care in the Medical Home.
This educational series starts on June 20th. Please register by June 6th.
This program will provide a foundation in transgender care including working with families and youth. The program will help providers and staff create a gender-affirming practice for their patients. We will discuss gender affirmation treatment as well as routine care of transgender patients. The goal is to develop understanding, competence, and confidence in caring for transgender patients of all ages in the medical home. The intended audience is a cohort of individuals or practice teams, including pediatric, family medicine, and internal medicine throughout Vermont.

Project ECHO requires a computer (with speakers and microphone), Internet access, and a webcam.
