Physician Assistant

Seeking a Full-Time provider for our St Albans center, located in St Albans City, Vermont. This position can be filled by a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (new grads are welcome to apply). Genesis Physician Services (GPS), part of Genesis HealthCare - one of the nation's largest providers of skilled nursing and rehabilitation therapy - is a group practice of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and others who specialize in the holistic care of sub-acute, skilled nursing and long-term stay patients. We invite you to join the GPS team as an Advanced Practice Provider -- Physician Assistant (PA). This is a collaborative role where you will work with skilled nursing center leadership to meet specific clinical goals/priorities and with the Medical Directors and/or Attending Physicians for patient-specific medical care. The Advanced Practice Provider -- PA provides primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents. 

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate from a program accredited by the ARC-PA and take the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) to use the PAC designation. PA state licensure required. NCCPA certification required. A minimum of two years' experience working with adult or geriatric population is preferred. In states where practice allows; APRN with an unrestricted professional license and DEA, for each state in which they practice. PA with an unrestricted professional license and DEA for each state in which they practice.
