Join your PA and student colleagues as AAPA offers its premiere Leadership and Advocacy Summit.

Join your PA and student colleagues as AAPA offers its premier Leadership and Advocacy Summit (LAS), March 5-7, 2020, at The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City, 1250 South Hayes Street, Arlington, VA, 22202. This meeting will sell out, so register early!

LAS kicks off with a full day dedicated to federal advocacy and afternoon visits with legislators on Capitol Hill. The remainder of the summit includes sessions focused on key developments facing the profession such as association management, best practices for constituent organization leaders, and advocacy skill-building.

LAS provides a fantastic opportunity for PAs to network, with generous break times and a welcome reception. There is ample time to meet old friends and emerging leaders, exchange ideas, and enjoy our nation’s capital.

This program is not yet approved for CME credit. Conference organizers plan to request 12 AAPA Category 1 CME credits from the AAPA Review Panel. The total number of approved credits is yet to be determined.

All Constituent Organizations Are Invited

Because the success of LAS depends on diverse perspectives, AAPA’s goal is to have as many constituent organizations (COs) represented at LAS as possible. Each CO is encouraged to send at least one representative. Register early – space fills up fast!

Welcome, First-time Attendees

First-time attendees often comment that LAS is one of the most important skill-building events they attend, as it provides them with an understanding of current issues facing the profession and how they can make positive change. Please contact us with questions about what to expect at LAS.

The 2020 Leadership and Advocacy Summit has been reviewed by the AAPA Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 16 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
