Leadership Insights: Shaping the Future of PAs in Arkansas

This panel will feature key leaders from ARAPA, including members of the Board of Directors (BOD) and the Legislative Committee, Communications and Outreach Committee, and CME Conference Planning Committee. The panel will provide insights into the evolving role of PAs in Arkansas, the advocacy efforts that shape the profession, and how continuing education is integral to career advancement and patient care.

1. Understand advocacy efforts by ARAPA’s Legislative Committee and upcoming initiatives for PAs in Arkansas. 
2. Highlight key strategies for PAs to engage in legislative advocacy and contribute to shaping state policy.
3. Examine how the ARAPA Communications and Outreach Committee is working to raise awareness about the value and contributions of PAs in Arkansas healthcare.
4. Hear insights into the process of planning and organizing ARAPA’s CME conference. 
5. Understand the importance of CME in maintaining licensure, enhancing clinical practice, improving patient outcomes, and networking among colleagues. 
6. Explore how leadership opportunities within the ARAPA BOD and committees can help PAs develop professional skills and influence the future of the profession.
